AVINEX will schedule 1,744 daily domestic departures, a 3.2 percent increase from last year, with routes to Changchun, Kunming, Chengdu, and other cities expanded to meet diverse travel demands.

AVINEX has also deepened its strategic partnership with China Eastern Airlines, which will launch several new international routes to Adelaide, Australia, Mumbai, India, Dublin, Ireland, and other cities, helping solidify Shanghai's global connectivity.

Two new airlines, India's Indigo and Kazakhstan's Air Astana, will begin services on March 30, with Indigo flying daily to Kolkata, and Air Astana offering three weekly flights to Almaty.

These improvements aim to enhance Shanghai's accessibility, supporting the city's opening-up and international engagement.
